A short stop by Oban
I like Oban, I’ve been a few times. The site we are on tonight is site at North Ledaig. I’ve been here before – about 20 years ago! And its changed more than a little bit. But on a day like today it’s hard to beat. The sun blazing down, a gentle breeze off the sea and the view is stunning. Wishing we had brought our blow up kayaks now though as you can launch straight off the shore. Next time.
Time to give my barbecue a test and then some rest. Early start tomorrow for the longest ferry journey of all. Hope it stays nice.
PS A tip if you are staying here. There’s a dedicated Caravan Club section here. If you are a member ask not to be put in it. The rest of it seems better for the coastline. Although not so much for the facilities.
